Senior Account Executive - Public Sector

The ideal candidate will help drive revenue growth by building a strong pipeline of sales leads and helping create the market strategy. You will be responsible for establishing a strong relationship with new prospects as well as maintaining a strong relationship with existing accounts. Your effective communication and interpersonal skills will help you succeed as a Senior Account Executive.

What you’ll be doing

  • Establish, nurture, and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Self-generate leads by contacting prospective clients by cold calling, networking, and industry events
  • Build market awareness and benefits of working with Mercurio Analytics
  • Conduct sales need analysis with new and prospective customers, including the development of client-centric product solutions
  • Designs, develops, and delivers sales proposals and presentations on product benefits
  • Qualifies new leads and determines serviceability of prospects, including ROI analysis 
  • Collaborate with other business services support groups, including sales support and marketing personnel  



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience selling technology and services within the Public Sector
  • Knowledge of budget and procurement cycles
  • Organized and able to multi-task
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Cold calling and prospecting experience
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Preferred: experience with data solution sales
